The Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, showcased alongside the Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus phones, proves that sometimes you have to do something twice to do the right thing. If you want the best specs and features, the S21 Ultra is for you. Added SPen support - This is the first Galaxy S phone to feature stylus support and will catch the eye of Galaxy Note users looking for other options.

Brighter displays and added SPen support.
I can`t say the S21 Ultra's design is significantly different, but my review unit has the best black finish I've ever seen. The color is called Phantom Black, and if you see it for yourself, you'll understand why Samsung shot a nearly three-minute video explaining its blackest finish. The S21 Ultra is also available in Phantom Silver and there are also limited editions of Titanium, Brown and Navy Phantom Finishes that can only be found on the Samsung website. The regular S21 and S21 Plus look chic in two-tone color, while the all-black S21 Ultra is cool, elegant and cool.
Brighter displays and added SPen support. SPen support means you can draw, write, edit photos, and sign documents on the S21 Ultra. The display also supports SPen. The Galaxy Note series has always fascinated me, but I never thought I'd be able to justify a purchase using SPen.
I love the iPad ProApple Pencil approach to the Samsung S21 Ultra. I love photo editing and tweaking with SPen. Samsung sells phone cases with SPen memory.
Two telephoto lenses in one phone
The S21 Ultra camera system has received several important updates. There are four rear cameras: one wide-angle lens, one ultra-wide-angle lens, and two telephoto lenses. The main camera's 108-megapixel sensor is new and has improved autofocus for both stills and video. There is also a new focus enhancement tool that pops up on the screen to help the phone focus faster.
This means that when zooming in, there are two places in the zoom range to get the best image without cropping the image. Of course, you have to be careful not to move the phone too much, but it's less demanding and stuffy than the S20 Ultra. Photos from the S21 Ultra are excellent, with good detail and a wide dynamic range. There's a new video feature called Director's View, which gives you a thumbnail preview of the video feeds coming from all of the cameras on the phones.
On paper, Director's View looked like it was used once and could never be used again. When recording regular 4K video, I would like to see a similar thumbnail preview interface for all rear cameras. We're excited to compare the S21 Ultra and its camera to the iPhone 12 Pro Max and Google Pixel 5.
