How to enable two-factor authentication



1. Facebook

Steps to Enable 2FA:

  1. Log In: Go to facebook.com or open the Facebook app.
  2. Access Settings:
    • On desktop: Click your profile picture in the top-right corner, then go to Settings & privacy > Settings.
    • On mobile: Tap the menu (three horizontal lines) > Settings & privacy > Settings.

  4. Choose a Method:
    • Authentication app (e.g., Google Authenticator).

  6. Optional: Save recovery codes in case you lose access to your 2FA method.

2. Google (Gmail, YouTube, etc.)

8. Apple ID

  2. Enable 2FA: Select Turn on Two-Factor Authentication.
  3. Verify Contact Info: Add and verify a trusted phone number.
  4. Complete Setup: Follow the prompts.



Make sure to keep backup codes or a recovery email handy to avoid being locked out of your account.
